CA at IrondVICTOR-6 at PENFIELD-4 - It was a close and exciting game at Penfield as the defense at both ends of the field kept the score low. Victor scored first but Penfield returned for the first tie. Kyle Saeger (2g-1a) the scored twice to give the Blue Devils a 3-1 led at the end of the first quarter. Both teams scored one goal in the second and left with Victor up 4-2 at the half. Ethan Aust (1g) scored the only goal in the third, taking the Patriots to 4-3. Near the top of the last quarter Zach Shores (1g) scored the tying goal for Penfield. McQuaid Jesuit used a 7 goal third quarter to pull ahead and defeat Penfield 10-6 in tonight’s second match-up.  The game was a defensive game for three quarters with 9 of the 17 total goals coming in the third quarter.  Penfield’s Mason Schembri finished at 50% with 8 of his 10 saves coming in the first half.  McQuaid Jesuit’s Will Gordon finished at 60% with 9 saves in the contest.  Offensively, McQuaid Jesuit’s Henry Coke and Penfield’s Ethan Aust both finished with 3g to lead their respective teams.  McQuaid Jesuit moves on to face Pittsford in the Finals on Tuesday.

Hilton was a winner over visiting Wayne and Schroeder and Pittsford lost to Section III team.
